Help Keep Our Program Alive

Like many local businesses we are in a tough spot since we have not been able to operate as normal for the past 4 months due to the Covid-19 crisis. A lot of us have shifted to online shopping to avoid being out and about too often. What if we told you there is a way for you to shop online at some of your favorite stores AND help us earn money to keep our programs going?

Well now if you use FlipGive you can earn our program cash back for each purchase you make! It’s possible for us to earn anywhere from 1% all the way up to 25% depending on the store. Please help us out while you do your normal shopping.

Precious Promises

Peter was a man who knew the value of the promises of God and he knew of no other way to describe them but by calling them what they were: precious. Peter was attempting, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to communicate the intrinsic value and long-lasting impact of that which is found in the Word of God. Peter, the man on a mission, shouts through the ages, “Don’t take the promises of God for granted! Realize the purpose of His promises and hold them dear and close to your life.”

The Bible promises that God’s promises promise that you can share in God’s very own nature. You can savor all He is and then marinate in it to the extent that you become it! You have the potential of ingesting His very personality and exhibiting His very character. Your life becomes a place of demonstration of His fruit and His power. You are no longer like you… because of the promises… you are now like Him. He became what we are to make us what He is.

Here are just a few precious promises to remember to cling to:

Forgiveness and Victory over Sin

We no longer need to feel guilty or ashamed before God. If we come to Jesus on his terms, God will forgive our iniquity and remember our sins no more (Jeremiah 31:34).

“…they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” (Jeremiah 31:34, ESV).

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus… in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:1,37, ESV).

Answers to Prayer

We no longer need to feel helpless, anxious, and alone. We can take everything and anything to God in prayer (Philippians 4:6).

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7, ESV).

“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.” (1John 5:14, ESV).

Security of Our Souls

Provided that we continue to follow Jesus, nobody, not even Satan, can separate us from God.

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39, ESV).

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.” (John 10:27-29, ESV).
